This report shows the number of mortgages and total amount of mortgages in each of the geographic areas where data is collected.

Markets are ranked in size based on the total $ amount of lending in that market.

You can group by metro area or you can get the same report format grouped by county.

You can analyze a geographic area's lending activity within these categories:

• All conventional mortgages (i.e. conforming and jumbo)
• Jumbo mortgages only
• Conforming mortgages only

Like other facilities in the Conventional section of the site, you control the periodicity by specifying a date range and purpose (purchase or refinance).

Note that in many markets we are only reporting purchase money mortgages.
